Hello Its very important to get an X ray to evaluate the position of the wisdom tooth and if its erupting in the right direction. If its impacted then its advised for a surgical extraction.
Next Steps
Visit your dentist soon and get an X ray done to evaluate the condition.

Hi.. the condition is known as pericoronitis.. needs to be operated.. that is wisdom tooth removal has to be done.. not a painful procedure. Start with analgesics and antibiotics first. Kindly visit the nearby dentist..

Hi It seems to be infection at the site of erupting wisdom tooth  (PERICORONITIS). Visit a oral surgeon and get antibiotics and painkillers prescribed.
Next Steps
Get an extra oral x-ray (OPG) done to see the angulation of the tooth and extent of decay if present.
Health Tips
OPG will help to guide any other impacted tooth/teeth if present.

You should consult with an oral surgeon near you and plan for it's extraction, he can give you some muscle relaxants for opening your mouth.

hello, you can do warm salt water rinses as a home remedy, but this will give only temporary relief from pain. You need to visit a dentist and get it checked. Get an x-ray done. The best treatment for wisdom tooth is to get it removed.
