Don't let your pain appear and dissappear again and again. Better get the tooth treated with root canal treatment and cap if opposing tooth is present and helps in chewing in your case.
If tooth is placed awkwardly get it removed.
Cost of both the procedures are different. An ☓ ray and clinical picture together will help suggest best line of treatmemt.

First of all take an iopa xray of the tooth. Then decide treatment. If there is infection give antibiotics and analgesics. If impacted then, explain about surgical extraction.
The pain in the wisdom tooth is usually of cyclic and recurrent nature...... any treatment modality like antibiotic course, localised cleaning of gums or pain killers will only provide temporary relief..... extraction of the offending tooth after a proper clinical examination and x-ray called as OPG would be the best and permanent solution..... consult your dentist who can guide you about the same..... the cost of the surgical extraction varies depending on the position and angulation of the tooth in the jaw bone.... Regards.....
Hello..Pain may be due to decay or insufficient space to erupt.so clinical examination and x ray is required.please visit nearby dentist, cost varies from place to place. If treatment advised to you is removal then little bit of pain will there and the procedure is done under local anesthesia .
Wisdom tooth does pain while it is in the process of erupting ..sometimes when the gum flap has not moved out it pains when some food etc get caught there..and may lead to infection..you should rinse that area and keep it clean ..in the meanwhile get an x-ray done to see whether it is coming out straight if not then you need to get it extracted..tc

Most of wisdom teeth do not erupt properly
So, it ends up in surgical removal
Assess by an radiograph
Then removal
