Wisdom tooth pain
Hi,
It has been almost a year since my wisdom tooth started coming, half of it is out but the other half still isn't.
From past 3 days there is this constant pain in that tooth of mine.
Can you please suggest any medicine and it's dosage which would give relief?

Hi,
Your wisdom tooth might be impacted, i.e stuck inside the jaws. Since you gave history of almost a year its not out yet and you are sufferring from constant pains . For a temporary relief you can take medications . Keep the area clean. Rinse with warm water and salt atleast 4 to 5 times a day. Betadine or chlorhexmouth wash can also be used.

permanent solution would be getting it examined by a dentist who would suggest to go for an xray (panoromic ) prefferably. so that exact position of the teeth in jaws can be seen and hence the better treatment plan can be formulated. If the teeth is impacted ideally one should go for its removal ( the teeth has no functionality in mouth ) so removal wont need for replacement of teeth. If the teeth is not impacted we can wait and watch.

Hey hi .. for ur pain to relief u can start with antibiotics n pain killer mix cv - 625 mg -1 tab for 5 days. If pain is too much take one ultracet . Visit a dentist take an x-Ray .. if it’s not erupting in a proper direction . It’s better to get it removed..

We need to take X ray and remove the wisdom teeth,which will be a permanent solution.. for time being you can take ibuprofen with paracetamol combination tablet twice daily for three days

Hello,
If your wisdom tooth is half out for a year, and you have constant pain for the past 3 days, you should urgently consult a dentist for treatment. Medicines alone will not solve the problem. Waiting may cause or worsen the problem.

You may be infected. You need to consult a dentist as antibiotics should be prescribed only after clinical examination
