Ist and 3rd trimester is not suitable for any invasive treatment. Rather consult a dentist and let him know , he will guide you accordingly. Also don't take any medication on your own .
Dental treatments are preferred to be done in 2nd trimester with gynaecologist consent.
In case of emergency, you can visit the nearby dentist to ease the pain.
If any x-rays are to be taken, with lead apron and proper care to the baby. Administration of anaesthesia and medications, as advised by the obstetrician
Health Tips
salt water rinses atleast 3-4 times in a day to reduce inflammation
If it’s mild pain or swelling → manage conservatively (warm saline rinses, pregnancy-safe medications prescribed by doctor).
If it’s a severe infection that could affect you and the baby → extraction may be done, but should be careful with the type of local anesthesia given and antibiotics
