I got my wisdom tooth removed today after eating I slowly fill water in my mouth and let it slowly out of my mouth I don't spit it is it fine I don't want to get a dry socket

Hello mam.. Good evening.. Welcome to practo.. You are right.. Do not spit.. Do not use straw.. Brush softly.. Take soft diet.. Do not sleep that side.. Don't touch the extraction socket with finger or tongue.. Do not gargle.. The blood clot will subside and start to heal.. Do extraoral ice pack massage for five mins, thrice a day for two days.. Hello mam, Yes gargling is good but don't do it frequently.. U can eat ice cream, swallow,.. Drink lots of cold water not to cold.. Spitting out can cause bleeding.. Leads heal slowly.. Take soft diet avoid eating frm the side u have extracted ur tooth.... Medication on time..
