Hi To decide whether a wisdom tooth needs to be extracted or saved,we need to see the position of tooth clinically and also with x rays.If tooth is coming in a position where it's constantly going to hurt your soft tissue around, it is better to extract it.Wisdom teeth normally hurt when they are coming up ,not necessary to extract all of them.Use pain killers judiciously.Try to keep the area as clean as possible with constant rinsing, and visit a dentist , who will guide you.Good luck!

A wisdom tooth has to be removed if it hurts very frequently if pain is not so frequent better avoid extraction and maintain the area around tooth

Based on the position of the tooth using an x-ray we can judge whether it needs to be extracted or not. Secondly pain killers are to be used judiciously, even occasional use could prove detrimental to health.

Hello good evening... As per se the criteria if removing or keeping a teeth depends on the overall time and purpose the tooth is going to give you in future...if keeping this tooth is going to keep disturbing you on a regular basis and nothing can be done about it then we advice extraction. Rest apart if we can do something to keep you out of discomfort by saving this tooth we would advice the same. So basically you weigh the pros and cons of keeping this tooth and take the decision about it.

If ur in teen than wisdom tooth erupts at this age , usually most if the people experience pain while the tooth is erupting , you can get an x ray done for your teeth , if it's erupting in a proper manner Dan u need not extract it rather take a course of antibiotics and do Luke warm salt water gargle 4-5 times a day. It will give you relief , but if the tooth erupts ina abnormal manner I suggest you extract it .

Any wisdom teeth hurts a little during the eruption process ..only an opg or a full mouth x-ray will be able to tell us whether the tooth is coming out straight or not or whether your jaw has space to accommodate it..if it is tilted or there is inadequate space then it will be never able to erupt and keep on giving you problem every now and then...then it has to be extracted..take care..as for painkiller kindly take judiciously..
