Wisdom tooth.
Good afternoon , just wanted to know if the extraction is always required. I have had pain bothering me for last 2 days. On anti inflammatory pain meds and augmetin. Can it get resolved by itself. I am 32 right now. It's the left lower molar troubling me

Hello sir......your wisdom tooth are impacted you should go for removal of tooth so that surrounding areas will not get infected.Regards.

Looks like a perfect case of all four impaction. Sir the impacted tooth does not have enough space to erupt and also it is tilted mesially. Food lodgement in that area will lead to recurrent bouts of infection known as pericoronitis and also decay the molar in front. Coming back to your question, it has to be extracted. The more you delay, the more damage it will cause.

Your X-ray shows wisdom tooth is impacted. It is recommended you remove it as it can keep getting infected and also spoil the tooth in front of it
