Its all about priority. It may pain or doesn’t till feb 2018 or even 2019! Pain can be suppressed with medication, but till the time cause has not been taken care of, its unpredictable!!! No one can tell you, if pain recurs. In my opinion , get this sorted than to be in a situation where it gets complicated. Goodluck.

Hi, pain related to wisdom tooth can be really annoying and I can understand what you are going through. However, after going through your description of the offending tooth I too will have to recommend extraction of the tooth. I will advise you to consult an oral & maxillofacial surgeon who is someone who specializes in treating such problems. In hands of an experienced oral surgeon the whole process can be surprisingly pain free with rapid recovery. All the very best.

We cannot give you any more rational suggestion if you don't have time for your health. The treatment suggested seems appropriate according to the description that you have mentioned and delaying it will only cause the pathology to continue and the symptoms can reappear again even with a high intensity than the previous episodes. Medications only provide temporary relief for dental infections and unless the objective treatment is done for a particular problem the pathology continues to cause its destructive action. There is no scientific way to predict when the symptoms will reappear which can range from a few days to a few weeks to even a few months, depending on many factors like patients own immunity, nutritional status, oral hygiene maintenance by the patient, and the type of bacteria causing infection. So it would be absolutely illogical to wait for the symptoms to appear and then get the treatment because in such a case the treatment will become slightly complicated, you will require more medications and the healing well time will definitely get prolonged. Regards

not to scare you, but I would like to give an honest opinion based on my experience. when a person tries to delay any treatment based on the fact that they have no time, most of them rush to us in emergency situations when the pain becomes extreme and in that case the reason for the lack of time (whether it is work schedule or any other reason) is nowhere into the consideration.
