Hi
Since its been 7 days you should visit your dentist for a check up and if healing is satisfactory the doctor will remove the stitches. If your wisdom tooth removal involved drilling for removing the impacted tooth ..swelling is a common phenomenon for 3/4 days accompanied with mild pain and difficulty in mouth opening. But the symptoms usually wear off by one week .Avoid hot n spicy food for atleast week after surgery. Pls avoid touching the socket area with tongue as this interferes with healing. All the best.

Stitches are normally removed on the 7th day.... you need to check with your surgeon to find out the date of suture removal.... the symptoms indicate towards residual inflammation/infection..... also the healing time  varies from patient to patient depending on  the meticulous  adherence to the instructions given and the medications prescribed  and also on the diet  after the surgery...... please get a thorough clinical examination done so that the right treatment can be instituted....
Regards.....

Based on your history please check whether you have a dry socket or not..  Usually we remove stitches after 7 days..  And symptoms usually subside withing 8 or 10 days..  Hope u have taken proper antibiotics and proper anti inflammatories. As of now u can eat all kinds of food since it is 7 days.  But if u do have a dry socket get it checked and treated.  Feel free to consult Laser Smile Care Centre. God bless u.

Normally it takes 7 to 10 days for healing and stiches can be removed after that but if it is not healing you should visit ur dentist for the same.if the tissue is not healed u should avoid hot & spicy food.u should not touch the surgical area else the clot will dislodge and it will hamper healing process as well.all these symptoms are normal but you should avoid them else it will delay healing...
