Will tb mass reduce in TB treatment?
My father has a mass lesion of 2.7cm in diameter on left upper lobe and diagnosed as TB. What is the average time in days to see size reduction after starting att treatment? and What would be the reduction percentage?

It will vary from patient to patient, dependent on multiple factors, radiological resolution takes more time than clinical/symptomatic improvement,generally pnuemonic consolidation of  bacterial etiology takes many weeks time to resolve completely  on a radiograph.

Radiological resolution in tuberculosis may take up to 4-6 weeks but symptomatic patient start to improve by 2 weeks

It will definitely resolve. But other parameters are also important. Pl continue Att.pl consult Pulmonologist online with all the reports and treatment taken.
