Why symptoms worsening
I was given Foracort and Budesonide (both corticosteroids). Does using corticosteroids like these increase ABPA numbers? Because my symptoms have worsened after starting them. I wasn't prescribed antifungal Please help me understand. Thanks!

No .. they are not the reason for causing ABPA.. antifungals will be considered only in particular stage of ABPA for which u need to get evaluated and staged properly.. ur symptoms might be increased due to underlying problem in lungs and not because of inhalers/ rotahaler.. ensure that u r following correct technique of using inhaler n rinse mouth after every usage

Inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) do not increase the risk of Allergic Bronchopulmonary Aspergillosis (ABPA) and are not a cause of ABPA. ABPA is an allergic reaction to the fungus Aspergillus fumigatus, mainly affecting people with asthma or cystic fibrosis. • Inhaled corticosteroids are commonly used to treat asthma, including patients with ABPA, to help control inflammation
