There can be many causes for this. First of all some specific history needs to be given. Is there any history of similar complaints in your family. What type of jaundice you get which can be determined by Liver function tests more specifically by serum bilirubin.

Thank you for sharing your medical history. Recurrent jaundice can have various underlying causes, such as liver disorders (like chronic hepatitis or cirrhosis), metabolic or genetic conditions (like Gilbert’s syndrome), or recurrent infections. Since you have had multiple episodes over the years, it is essential to explore these potential causes in detail.
I recommend getting the following tests done to pinpoint the issue:
Liver Function Tests (LFTs)
Complete Blood Count (CBC)
Imaging studies such as an ultrasound or CT scan of the liver
C-reactive protein to check for any inflammatory response in the body
Additionally, please get vaccinated for hepatitis if you haven’t already, and maintain good hygiene to reduce infection risk.
