White coating could be because of many reasons. It could be cause of improper cleaning or some fungal infection.
It is best to visit a dental specialist who can evaluate the type of coating. Till then use a tongue scraper
Use mouthwash Chlorhexidine mouthwash (5 ml in 5 ml water) gargle twice a day don't eat drink anything for half an hr after that.
Try to rinse your mouth after meals at least with plain water.
Hope it helps. Take care. Stay Safe.
Tongue coating is mainly responsible for bad breath or halitosis. Generally bacteria which are responsible for bad breath get mixed with food and saliva and create a white coating over tongue. This coating is responsible for bad breath. It also interferes with maintenance of oral hygiene. Get a tongue cleaner from market and clean your tongue after your every meal. If you dont get tongue cleaner in market, use back side of Colgate zigzag brush for cleaning ur tongue area. Side by side, use any mouthwash containing 0.2% or 0.12% of Chlorhexidine or use Rexudine plus mouthwash of 10 ml each time twice in a day. Gargle for at least 20 to 30 seconds to create more effect of mouthwash and then spit . Do this ...your problem will get solved.
Attach a picture of your tongue for better judgement.
Start tongue scraping with plastic tongue scraper regularly, at least once a day, before bed time.
