Whitish pink rising thing on tongue
I noticed this white thing on my tongue few months ago. I don't remember how it formed. I have chronic pain in jaw and have had several dental work for that. Didn't check the tongue and suddenly spotted it one day. It's the same size since then and no changes in size. Hurts if I touch or rub it. It's not falling off and I didn't apply anything on it yet. Attached the pictures. I don't know if this issue is dental origin or ENT. Posted in oral surgeon sub forum too. Sorry about that. Do I need to see an ENT? Whom should I see for this? What does this thing look like? Is this something sinister? My friend is dental assistant and she said it could be papilloma. I want to get proper diagnosis. Who will treat this and how is this treated? I have this for more than an year. Is leaving this for an year is ok or harmful? I am currently outside India and I am planning to travel to India to get this treated. Is this need to be removed immediately or can wait for few months for travel?
