Hi, Firstly don't worry about it. Congratulations on your delivery It could be a pin worm but it's difficult for me to say that with surety without a picture of it. It would be great if I can connect with you over a consult. You can use a tablet if it's a pin worm but I need to be sure before prescribing it for you Take care

To the Patient:**  Pinworm infection (threadworms) is common but requires careful treatment, especially during breastfeeding. Here’s a safe and effective approach:  Treatment Plan:**  1. Medication:**     - Albendazole 400 mg** (single dose) is safe during breastfeeding.     -Repeat after 7 days** to eliminate newly hatched worms.     - Avoid breastfeeding for 3 days post-dose* (pump and discard milk during this period).  2. Hygiene Measures:**     - Wash hands thoroughly after using the toilet and before handling your baby.     - Change and wash underwear, bed linens, and towels in **hot water**.     - Keep nails short and avoid scratching to prevent reinfection.  3. For Family Members:**     - All household members should take Albendazole** (same dosing schedule) to prevent spread.     - For infants <1 year, consult a pediatrician before giving any medication.  Safety Note: While Albendazole is minimally absorbed into breast milk, the 3-day precaution ensures your baby’s safety.  For Personalized Guidance:**  Schedule a consultation to discuss any concerns or additional precautions.  **My WhatsApp:** Eight Zero Zero Nine Eight Two One Three Three Two (for direct support).
