I have this white patches which are painfull while drinking water ..when move water to that side..i have a history of smoking used to smoke long time ago for 2-3years then i stopped 3+ years back ..to my stupidity i have done alot of google about smoking does to mouth and other things so am paranoid..please kindly help me on this ..i have attached the images

it look like white bands with ulcer although to for definite diagnosis do visit a dentist consult oral surgeon… need to know the history for how long it has been there is there any burning sensation or limitation in mouth opening

Visit MDS oral and maxillo facial surgeon or MDS oral pathologist if the lesion doesn't go away in 8-10 days.
Do not touch or irritate it.
The picture is not very clear, but what it seems like a traumatic ulcer. It could be one of the differential diagnosis. It depends on how many days the pain is occurring and also do you feel burning sensation? In that case it's advisable to visit a mds in oral medicine.
