The white mark on your tongue may be a healing ulcer or it may be a white mark caused due to constant frictional irritation in that area. Are any teeth adjacent to the mark sharp? Or is that root canal treated tooth in the adjacent region and does it have a new cap? If you are a smoker or indulge in tobacco in any form you should stop it. Some white lesions in such cases be premalignant changes. A clinical examination by a dentist or maxillofacial surgeon will be helpful in diagnosis and treatment. Hope this helps!

Hi, it looks like healing ulcer over tongue. Normally ulcers will appear on tongue cheek due to some vitamin deficiency or due to any injury. It will take time to disappear. Take b complex tablets once daily for atleast 15 days. If you are a smoker avoid smoking. If it is not going or increasing in size we can think about premalignant condition. Consult general physician for further evaluation.
