White coating
The white coating on my tongue has been for few years now and I'm a little concerned about it right now. Is there anyway I can get rid of it completely? What might be the suggested treatment for this?

The attached image of your tongue doesn't show any white coating. Include tongue scrapping with your routine brushing .

Hello Sometimes white coating arises if there is poor tongue cleaning and sometimes it may be because of any condition. In this picture the coating is not so evident If you don't have any kind of symptoms like burning sensation etc then you can try cleaning the tongue If yes then you need to consult a dentist.

In this picture it is not that evident. Clinical examination is must in your case. If it is because of poor oral hygiene then it is reversible . Do you have any burning sensation or any other difficulties because of this ?? If so,inform the doctor

There are many reasons for the white coating on tongue. Poor oral hygiene which leads the tongue papillae  to swell and become white. Tobacco Alcohol Dry mouth Dehydration Certain medications Leukoplakia Oral lichen planus and the list goes on. So it's better if you consult a dentist.

Try and maintain good oral hygiene i.e. brushing twice, flossing, cleaning the tongue.

Hello Need more information regarding the whiteness of the tongue if it is having any burning sensation Also, maybe due to poor oral hygiene please clean the tongue every day
