White cerelac and watery stools
Ever since I introduced rice cerelac to my baby he is been doing watery stools,4-5times a day, is it a side effect of introducing new food?? How many days will it happen please guide, he is having Rice cerelac twice a day and rest he is having milk, but pooping watery stools around 4-5 times

Loose stool is concerning only if there's pain in tummy, or weight loss or blood in stool

Rice Cerelac contains soybean oil, milk and sugar in addition to rice flour You can try to give him home cooked rice instead and if stools normalize, add other ingredients to it, one at a time

Its normal in the initial period.. can feed him the same.. consult doctor if the stools are persistent for > 6-8 timeas a day

Can give him ORS if passing more watery stools.. check for rash at the perimeter anal region, if so then consult a pediatrician near by..

Can you let me know his exact age , and if he is 1 year old as you have written , you can give him rice dhal prepared at home , he will not need cerelac , it would be better to have a video consult so that I can guage his nutrition and give you a plan
