Even with good water intake, dry stools can occur due to weak digestion or vata imbalance. Include fiber-rich foods (fruits, vegetables, whole grains), 1–2 tsp ghee, soaked raisins, figs, and warm liquids daily. Ayurveda medicines & lifestyle changes help regulate bowels. I suggest you consult me for a personalized plan.

Dry/hard stools usually come from Vata imbalance (ruksha – dryness, shoshana – depletion). So, the key is to add snigdha (unctuous, oily), mridu (softening), and anulomana (bowel-regulating) foods + habits.
Next Steps
Consult a doctor for proper diagnosis and proper treatment
Health Tips
🥛 Diet 1. Ghee – 1–2 tsp daily (in dal, roti, or warm milk at night). 2. Warm milk with ghee – bedtime: 1 cup warm cow’s milk + 1 tsp ghee (classic remedy for mridu mala – soft stool). 3. Soaked dry fruits – 4–5 black raisins + 2 figs/prunes soaked overnight; eat in the morning. 4. Seasonal fruits – papaya, ripe banana, guava, pear (avoid very sour fruits if too much gas). 5. Vegetables – lauki (bottle gourd), torai (ridge gourd), spinach, pumpkin – always cooked with a little ghee/oil (never raw excess). 6. Whole grains – daliya, oats, old rice, wheat chapati with ghee. 7. Buttermilk – thin, with roasted jeera + pinch of rock salt – improves digestion and prevents dryness.
