Plz describe diet plan during RADIATION THERAPY for patient. What food can eat or can't ? Plz give suggestions Best food for helping RADIATION

Eat clean, well cooked food. There is no need to avoid a particular food item because a person is receiving Radiation therapy. There is no proof of a particular food item helping Radiation.

If patient has diabetes then she/he should follow diabetic diet.

What site are you getting radiation.. Nutrition depends on site of radiation and differs based on extent of disease..comorbidities like diabetes hypertension and radiation target voulme.. Meet in person to discuss...

High protein diet. Solid/ liquid or Ryles tube/peg feed what ever is possible.

Nutritious food, specially home cooked. If he is taking difficulty in swallowing  ,then take semi solid . Drink plenty of fluids specially water.

Good nutritious food to be taken. Most important is adequate hydration. Site of radiotherapy? Avoid spicy and oily food. Home cooked food is advised.
