Hi, Calories is defined as a unit of energy. Whatever we consume is in the form of calories only. Weight loss, Weight gain & Weight maintenance all are dependent on calories that we consume. All refined carbs, saturated fats, Trans fats, highly processed food comes under High calorie food. All natural & uncooked food in the form of Salads, fruits, curd, lassi, complex carbs come under Low Calorie food.
