Weight of 3 month old baby
Hi doctor, my baby is 3 month old. His birth weight is 3.3 kg and current weight is 5.8 kg. Is it normal? What should I do to increase weight? On 25th October his weight was 5.3 kg so in 1 month month je gain only 500 gm.

Continue exclusive breast feeding 10-12 times a day including night time feeding.

Dear parents, Weight gain in kids is as follows. In first quarter weight gain is 750gm to 1000gm per month. In second quarter weight gain is 500gm to 750gm per month. In third quarter weight gain is 400gm to 500gm per month Birth weight 3.3kg now wt is 5.8kg =2 5kg weight gain in 3month 750 x3=2.250kg. 3.3 +2.250=5.550kg Baby is gaining normal weight

hold, the Baby in one arm keeping his head at elbow joint and buttocks in the palm of same hand. Feed Baby for 15 to 20 min. hold the outer palm of Baby with thumbs and index finger and press when ever baby sleep or stop feeding. after feeding put the Baby on left shoulder and pat just behind the stomach for 5 minutes Baby burp 3 to 5 Times. After Burping lay down the Baby on rt side of the kid keeping his head above levels of stomach keeping a pillow beneath the Baby head. Feed Baby from one breast at a time. drink lots of water before feeding and during feeding
