If ur Sugar levels r under control, Then u can put up wt(at optimum level) by taking Good nutritious,preferably Proteinaceous Diet(should not be carbohydrates like Rice),Milk,Millets,Egg white,all Veg.&few types of fruits also(which has less Glucose contents) with regular excercises&practice of Yoga to maintain Fitness&balance.Why i m mentioning Exercises,Yoga etc is bcoz Putting up Wt is not the mattet,but that also should b in healthy way.&Moreover as u r already known Diabetic, u r more prone to get high Cholesterol,BP vice versa.
