Hi, Weight gain is a gradual process & it needs a lot of personalized dietary approches. Drastic changes or supplements or medications would only give short term results. Instead of opting for supplements or medications I suggest improving your overall food intake and regular physical activity mainly weight bearing exercises will help you in putting on weight. A personalized diet session is highly recommended for you as it takes into account all the details such as routine, lifestyle, eating habits, exercise, sleep, stress, etc. This helps in understanding the gap areas and guiding you accordingly. As a start following guidelines can be of help - 1. Never skip meals & eat balanced meals 2. Incorporate protein rich foods such as dals, pulses, sprouts, milk & milk products, lean chicken, etc. in every meal 3. Ensure two fruits throughout the day 4. Have calorically dense foods such as milkshakes, lassi, smoothies, sandwiches, wraps, etc 5. Include healthy fats from nuts & oilseeds 6. Vegetables such as potato, sweet potato, yam and fruits such as banana, mango, chickoo, custardapple are calorically dense 7. Exercise atleast 5 days a week. Mainly weight bearing exercises 8. Avoid sugar, sweets, junk, processed & packaged foods, etc.

Hi, A healthy balanced diet always helpful to gain weight. To build muscle mass, good quality protein is required, like dahi/ yoghurt, paneer, soyabean, almond, cashew, egg etc. You can have one pot calorie rich meal like khichdi made by moong- masoor, soyabean biriyani, rice kheer with nuts and raisins etc. It's a gradual process, needs time.
