Hi, What you need to do is balance  out your calories and exercise. Just taking protein powder or a particular supplement or food item won't help. Measured calories intake tailored to your weight and activity will help. Don't expect immediate results. **Dear Patient,**  At 43 kg, your weight may or may not be a concern depending on your height and overall health. Here’s what I recommend:  1. Check Your BMI    - Calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI) to determine if you are underweight. A BMI below 18.5 suggests underweight status.  2. Assess Underlying Causes    - Thyroid function(Hyperthyroidism can cause difficulty gaining weight).     - Digestive issues(Malabsorption, food intolerances).     - Metabolic or hormonal imbalances.  3. Dietary Adjustments Before Supplements     - Increase calorie-dense foods (nuts, dairy, healthy oils).     - Focus on balanced meals (carbs + proteins + fats).     - Protein powder is not mandatory unless dietaryintake is insufficient.  4. When to Consider Supplements?     - Only if dietary efforts fail and medical causes are ruled out.  For a *personalized assessment, including thyroid tests and dietary planning, kindly consult. You may reach me on WhatsApp at **Eight Zero Zero Nine Eight Two One Three Three Two** for further guidance.

What is your height? Because wight and height both decide BMI( body mass index). If that is between 18 to 25  your weight is normal and you need to do nothing. If you are underweight,  take a diet high in carbohydrates and proteins. Protein bars are not necessary.
Next Steps
do thyroid function tests, serum T3, T4 and TSH to exclude hyperthyroidism?

To gain weight healthily, focus on a calorie-surplus diet rich in protein shakes, nuts, dried fruits, avocados, and whole grains, and eat frequent, nutrient-dense meals.
