You no need to slowdown your metabolic rate. Becoming thin doesn't mean that your metabolism high,other reasons can also be involved.
Actually Its not the quantity which matter its the quality which matter.So you have to look into your diet what is missing in your diet and may be the timings are not right that's why ur not gaining weight.
