My son is 6 months and 5 days old, and his weight is 6.6 kg. We have started with solids now, however; his weight is stagnant for few weeks now. He is a very active baby and always playful.
Is banana a good option for better weight gain? Or any suggestions, please.

Banana is a good option for 6 months. There is no food or medicine which can guarantee weight. Weight is ok. No need to worry if weight does not increase for a few weeks
