My baby is 3 months old. his right eye is watering and having white discharge from yesterday. I have used ciplox eye drops 1 drop in each eye for every 4 hours. Still he has white discharge. Is it ok to use the drops or any other treatment required. If required whether to consult pediatrician or eye specialist.

There is s condition called naso lacrimal duct obstruction. That is a connection between the eyes and nose .. that can be blocked .. it's quite common in babies. You can try massaging from the inner side of the eye downwards to the nose.  Multiple times a day. It usually has a milk like watery discharge, which is not sticky and only seen in the inner side of the eye
Next Steps
To confirm this , you need to get an ophthalmologist opinion.
Health Tips
If it is this, Massaging like mentioned usually opens it up in many cases. Not to worry..If it persists only, we have to think of some other treatments
