Warm or cold compress?
I have developed what is said by doctor as bartholinitis.. Can you suggest will warm compress or cold pack helps for relieving the abscess.. Its very very painfull.. Even though i am taking medicines i am feeling feverish.. From yesterday night only i have started the course Can i apply warm or cold compress for reducing the problem.. If not what can i do for fast heeling Help

Along with antibiotics u need to take painkillers...if not relieved consult again to see any abscess...u can do both alternatively

It is an infection of a gland. No compresses will help you. You have to take antibiotics and painkillers. If the infection subsides it is all right. Otherwise you will have to go for surgery.

It will take its own time for healing Use antibiotics  and NSAIDS If having  pain visit hospital for further management
