Excessive gas or bloating can be due to formation of gas with fermented undigested food or some times unwanted bacterial overgrowth .This may be associated with alternate diarrhoea or constipation. The best way to deal with is exclusion of diet. Typical diet to be avoid are - Milk and milk products ( only curd can be tried), cabbage , capsicum, cauliflower, beans, green pea. Potato is selective. By then you can take Cap. VSL #3 ( 1-0-0) for 10 days after breakfast. Feel free to ask any further quary.

Hi.This is DR.T.S.Chandrasekar consultant surgical gastroenterologist. When you say you had intestinal obstruction after c section, was is immediately post surgery or later .if in immediate post surgery period,it probably has no relation to the present symptoms. Constipation itself can cause bloating.
Next Steps
Drink plenty of water High fibre diet exercise eg 45-60 min perday walking consult your doctor for medication for constipation  .
