Being Vegetarian does not mean that you will be lean or underweight. On the contrary, Vegetarian diet is a complete nutrients dense diet and does not have major ill effects and you can easily attain your Recommadery Dietary Allowance (RDA). There may be some kind of deficiency or hormonal imbalance because of which you might not be gaining weight. Exercise is never harmful to anyone whether you are over or under weight. So please consult any certified Dietitian or contact me.
