It's not good as your blood sugar levels are just managed by a medicine which you are taking. Your blood sugar level should be below 100 mg/dl (fasting) and below 140 mg/dl (2 hours after a meal). Even if your blood sugar levels are being lowered by glycomet (compound-metformin, which decreases the glucose production from liver), you'll gradually reach to the blood sugar levels at which metformin will no longer be functional and further medications will worsen diabetes as they lower the blood sugar by pushing it into cells, the damaged cells of kidney cause kidney failure, of coronary artery cause heart attack and optic nerve cause blur vision/diabetic retinopathy and other complications.
