After eating, especially foods containing milk or cereals like muesli, it is normal for blood sugar to rise slightly. A post-meal reading of 110 mg/dl taken about 45 minutes after eating is within the healthy range for a child. Fasting sugar (checked before breakfast) is usually below 100, and after meals can go up to around 140 without concern. No treatment or worry is needed. Just ensure she eats balanced meals, stays active, and drinks enough water. If she ever shows unusual thirst, tiredness, or frequent urination, you can repeat the test in fasting condition. You can also take an online consultation on Practo so I can guide you safely.
