Diabetic since last 2 yrs. on glyciphage 500mg later on increased to 1gm . know random blood sugar levels have increased to 215

Random blood sugar is not the right parameter for changing the dose. Get blood tests done from the lab: fbs, plbs, hba1c . The appropriate medicine can then be prescribed.
