Walking in babies
My child is 16 months old still don't walk much. Just try to take a few steps on bed and floor. Since last week tried and able to stand on floor but as soon as moves ahead fall after 2 steps. What is the right age for babies to start walking properly and independently. I have mentioned in different forums and some pediatrician says I can wait till18 months and its not an issues and one suggested to get a neurologist check done. What should I do at this stage. Also how can u help my baby to walk independently.

Babies who are not able to walk by 18 months definitely need medical evaluation.. As ur baby is attempting u can wait for two more months provided baby has no other issues
Next Steps
u can motivate the baby by keeping colorful attractive toys  nearby and slowly keeping them far as the baby tries to reach
