My baby one year 8 months.we are giving valparin syrup, topomac and frisium for seizure as prescribed by doctor. Today after taking medicine she vomited within half an hour m so we gave the dosage again. But she vomited again. Should we give her the dosage again? We are much concerned. Doctor told not to give. Will any pblm occur?

Don't repeat the dose as even if it is vomited some of it is absorbed by the gut.
But if the child is vomitting repeatedly it's better to see the pediatrician
Anti epileptic medicine are essential to give for good control of seizures. You may try drugs for control of vomiting 30 minutes before anti epilepsy medicine, it doesn’t help contact your pediatrician for alternative medicine
If an issue is going to arise is very difficult to say. Next time ,Please mix 5 to 10 ml of water with the medication so that babies are unaware of the taste.We can wait and watch as we are not sure whether baby has brought out all the medicines or only few . It is very difficult to comment on.
Syrups get absorbed quickly so dot repeat , overdose can also become a problem . You need to observe him & be ready for first aid in case problem happens .
You certainly need to take care of cause of vomiting. Do get in touch again if vomiting persists .
