Vitamin d injection when i am on period
Hi dr, I have slip disc and my dr asked me to get blood test where i found my vitamin D is 4.2 so he asked me to get vitamin d injection once in a week (total 4) I have taken  2 injections and Today i have to take 3rd ,but i got my periods.so is it ok to get injection while i am on my period. Thankyou in advance

I think two inj. Of vit D are sufficient. Kindly get your vitamin D tested before taking 3rd. Inj.

U May land up in hypervitaminosis with that large amount of vitamin d .(I suppose 6 lac unit each )

You can take vit d injection during periods no harm.. I would rather say have those injections every 2 weeks apart..
