Vitamin d drops for infants
My baby is now 2 months 15 days old. Somewhere i have listened about vitamin d for babies. Is it necessary for baby. Apart of this what other medicine required . Please suggest if yes which one is good to take . actually i had ceaserian . my baby was born at 8 months 15 days. Now please help.

As per new guidelines,if your child is less than 2.5kg at birth and more than 1.5kg then prescribed vitamin d is 400IU/day for 2 years. Kidrich d3 drops(800IU/1ml)0.5 ml daily for 2 years. If your child is more than 2.5kg at birth 0.5 ml daily for 1 year.

Ultra D3 drops (400/ml ) or Jus Dee drops (400IU /ml) are the names of VIT D drops . Give 1 ml once a day till 1 year of age.

Vit d is necessary for baby which is absent in breast milk. So u have to add on it. Any vit d drop can be given 400IU per day. Some good brands are Depura nano, arbivit 3.
