My Nephew vitamin D is 10. It goes down from 60 to 10. Vitamin D medicine was given to him for 1 year. He is now 16 months old. Please suggest what needs to be done. Any test required.

hi, normally vit D should be more than 20 iu/ml. as it was 10 (less)-was treated but now we have to know whether vit D Became normal or not and may require Vit D Level in blood and X ray hand if vit d less symptoms present and show to pediatrician/pediatric endocrinologist near to you

Is the child having any problem now?? Keep him in the morning sunlight for few minutes regularly n provide healthy vitD containing food items
