Hello, My wife had vitamin D level 19.58 ng/ml.what are the effects we can observe due to this deficiency.

You should be more interested in making up for the deficiency. Please get her Blood CBC, KFT done. She should start Vit D sachet or Capsule with 60,000 units of Vit please D3 . She should have exposure to sunlight in the morning (before 7AM) for half an hour. For further information please consult with a General Physician on Practo.

Vitamin D deficiency can be associated with a number of other conditions ranging from generalised tiredness, body pains to endocrine problems, metabolic problems etc. It will be useful to go through symptoms in detailed consultation. Effects are multiple- generalised bony weakness, rib pains to easy factures in long run. Needs supplementation tablets. Without which Vitamin D will continue to go low in following months.
