Vitamin b12 and homocysteine
Hello Doctor , First of all i want to say thanks for your services. My question is my vitamin b12 is 908 and Homocysteine is 37. Somebody told me this due deficiency of vitamin b12 but in my case it's b12 is on higher range . I'm confused

Your vitamin b12 is normal. But homocystein levels are high which is dangerous for your heart.

avoid coffe. reduce weight if your obese avoid oily and fried food. have more fruits and vegetables especially green leafy vegetables, beans, citrus fruits, sprouts, wheat which naturally helps reduce homocystein levels. look for any symptoms like breathlessness/ chest pain ,if you have any of these symptoms consult physician in person for physical examination.
