Very tiny blisters and slight irritation
I get very tiny blisters with very slight swelling and irritation on my lips especially on upper and lower border of lips. Also my lips are always very dry and keeps peeling off very often so I have to keep appying vaseline all the time. If I keep them without vaseline for 2hrs also they become very dry and can see dry skin coming off. I am facing this problem of dryness on lips from past 5yrs almost. I dont apply any cosmetic also on lips other than pure vaseline. I dont go into sunlight also mostly due to office. My body skin is also not too dry but lips are very dry and all the time.I am not doing any medication as well.Hope I have given all the details needed. Kindly help.

Hi. You most probably have exfoliative cheilitis. A detailed evaluation is necessary before suggesting any treatment. You should avoid gel/ coloured toothpastes, spices like cloves and cinnamon and use of cosmetics on lips. Use plenty of lip balm like Vaseline ir chaptex. Avoid licking of lips. As the problem has been there for years I recommend you come in for a consultation. Creams and ointments may be needed and there are other treatment options which can be discussed in detail.
