Vericose veins incompetant perforators
My mother has varicose veins problem. I am attaching the reports. She has some pains in legs. Should she go for surgery or can she just be relieved by elevating the legs and wearing compression stockings.If going for surgery which is preferred general surgery or laser? SFJ and SPJ are competent here, there are perforators only which is incompetent so it can be managed by compression stockings till the symptoms are mild, but surgery by conventional methods or by laser obviously will be best option.

Both surgeries are good. There are other newer treatment methods like sclerotherapy available.
