Vegetarian Nutrition
I stopped having meat completely since the past 4 years. I do have eggs twice a week and milk everyday. But I am not sure if my diet is fine. How do I increase intake if B12 and vitamin D? The only health issue I've seen faced is massive hair loss. Is it due to B12 or omega 3 deficiency? What is a balanced vegetarian diet?

We can have balanced vegetarian diet to obtain optimum Nutrition. Though B12 is mostly in animal food. Hairloss can be majorly through stress ,lack of good protein and vit d in diet . Can give detailed diet once aware of daily diet intake. Please connect for detailed Diet chart.

U eat plenty of vegetables,fruits and greengram sprouts for supplementing ur vitamins,micronutrients as minerals. And proteins. Milk and milk products for fat,and proteins . And vit A,E. Fish,sardines,for vitB12 Nuts ,oils for vitE. Walking exercise yoga everyday for one hour from 6 am to 7.30 am.for activation of vit D. Millets supply carbohydrates,proteins and supports body growth and metabolism. Keep up ur eating time so that the digestive fire is activated at the right time .,and there ishealthy digestion.

Hi, The sources of vitamin B12 is animal foods, but as you have taken egg and milk then there will be generally no problem of deficiency of vitamin B12.  Still if you have doubt you can go for test, and if it is found low then you need to take vitamin B12 supplement. The best source of Vitamin D is Sunlight, so it will better take sunbath between 10 am to 3 pm for 10- 15 minutes without applying sunscreen. There are many reason behind hair loss, among these protien deficiency another one. Instead of twice, consume egg thrice in week, with keeping milk and milk products daily.  Except that different pulses, soyabean, almond, cashew etc try to include in diet. The sources  of omega 3 fatty acids are almond, Fenugreek, cooking oil etc.
