Do Ankle Exercises. 20 Moves Thrice Daily.
Elevation of Legs .. While Lying on Bed .. Raise Your Legs to One Feet With the Help of Pillow for two Hours Twice Daily .

K.......when the pain settled by rest......ect.with firm underwear you can do some exercises........like core and pelvic floor exercises ......if any of the exercises which aggravates pain you should avoid those.
First of all strat using jockstrap and start applying ice pack three times a day 10 min-15min not more than that.
Drink lot of water.
Avoid lifting heavy weight and long standing and sitting., running.
