Vaginal redness, itching and discharge
Hi. I have persistent itching in vagjnal area with redness along with transparent and white discharge.
I asked dr and she gave me
Glossderm-MN tube to apply
Vaginal wash to use
Some multivitamins
Cetrizine tablet
Ecoflora capsule
Can i avoid ecoflora capsules and cetrizine tablet and only apply tube? Will the infection get cured by this only
I dont wish to take cetrizine...dont want to take meds..

Glossderm is an ointment which contains some antibiotics and antifungal cream. They will destroy the normal vaginal flora which are friendly bacteria and keep your vagina healthy. By the vaginal cream even those bacteria will be destroyed. To replenish those friendly bacteria you need Ecoflora capsules. If you don't take Ecoflora then the friendly bacteria will take a long time to come back and your healing process will be delayed.

It's okay not to use eco flora which is a probiotic and cetirizine which is only for symptomatic relief
But only applying the tube may not help you may require added oral antifungal
