Vaginal itching in pregnancy
I'm pregnant with 19wks 4 days..yesterday I had my TIFFA and also TVS to check my cervical length..since last night my vagina is soo itchy but there is no discharge or foul smell...only itchiness in and around vaginal opening...what can I do to relieve thus itching?

It could be due to gel that is used during TVS. But TVS is not required at 19 weeks. Please have a proper wash with mild soap and water. Keep the area dry. Don't wear synthetic clothes. Use talcum powder. It will become all right.

Hi..if itching had started after TVS,can happen due to the gel we use for scan probe..wash with plain water,should settle .if continues pls visit your obstetrician to see any  skin leison/internal examination  to see any vaginal infection

Appears  to be because  of the gel used.Wash with lukewarm water, and dab.Observe for a day,if any skin changes  or Discharge ,  consult online  .
