Hello simply vaginal itching is due to candida infection in vagina. So you should take anti fungal medicines orally and vaginally .and improve your hygiene.

Vaginal irritation indicates infection either cervical or vaginal.Consult to gynaecologist in person and get examined by her and take full course of antibiotics oral as well as local.If sexually active treatment of partner is also compulsory.
