Yes cancer patients can take covid vaccine. If the patient is on chemotherapy, then it is advisable to take vaccine after 10 days of chemotherapy if D10 CBC is fine. If patient is on radiation therapy, vaccine can be safely taken. If the patient is a cancer survivor on follow-up, then vaccine can be taken safely anytime.
